XcelPros is actively seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) with a keen focus on Lead Generation, demonstrating a "hunter" mentality. This is an immediate remote work opportunity (WFH) for individuals authorized to work in the United States only.

Position Type: Remote, work from home (WFH) in the US.

Travel: Occasional travel to conferences, events, leads, etc.

Interviews/Hiring Process:

Initial email communications (to assess business communication etiquette and writing skills), followed by phone screen(s) and reference checks.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in ERP sales, minimum; preferably Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or NetSuite
  • Authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify potential new business opportunities for Sales Account Managers.
  • Propel new prospects through various lead generation tactics, notably LinkedIn messages and outbound phone calls.

  • Engage in consultative selling, requiring an analytical approach.
  • Conduct comprehensive research to pinpoint potential prospects.

  • Conduct thorough research on prospects and meticulously update our CRM system.
  • Manage inbound inquiries via the website, phone calls, and other channels.
  • Collaborate closely with management to ensure a focused approach toward goal achievement.
  • Assist in lead routing and nurturing.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer/prospect inquiries.
  • Develop, deliver, and adapt sales presentations based on performance metrics.
  • Cultivate rapport with customers/leads through engaging, approachable communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and opportunities within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Effectively communicate technical specifications of software offerings, addressing customer challenges.
  • Solicit insights regarding software/service requirements from leads.
  • Implement suggested scripts while customizing communication for calls, emails, and other messaging systems.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales experts to tailor and deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.
  • Stay aligned with the technology delivery team to ensure post-contract customer expectations are met.
  • Occasional travel may be required for trade shows and conferences.
  • Collaborate with the internal team and management to respond to pre-qualification questionnaires, RFI/RFQs, and tender documents.
  • Engage in commercial agreement negotiations.
  • Assist customers in optimizing software feature utilization.
  • Stay informed about dynamic market trends.
  • Perform a thorough needs analysis, identifying prospects' requirements and pain points.
  • Cultivate new business through mass communication methods, including email, social media, and telephone outreach.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and expand the sales pipeline, consistently meeting monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Generate leads and submit proposals, utilizing in-depth knowledge of XcelPros' licensing service offerings.
  • Effectively articulate product value, licensing, and opportunities to prospects, aligning with XcelPros and Microsoft messaging.
  • Understand XcelPros and Microsoft's messaging across various lines of business (Technology, Business Applications, BI, Cloud, and other offerings).
  • Ability to represent and forecast current and future business, with a potential focus on marketing and sales strategies across territories.
  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas is a significant advantage.
  • Self-starter with the capacity to establish a strong market presence.
  • Undertake any other assigned responsibilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior software sales experience is a requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of ERP sales or lead generation experience required.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $55,000-$60,000+
  • Sales and incentive-based commissions.
  • This role is eligible for performance-based bonuses and raises.
